LG arming its phones with fingerprint scanners?

It looks like LG could be the next sheep to follow Apple into the world of fingerprint scanners.

Apparently the rumored LG G3 and beyond will be fitted with the new unlocking method. That will apparently include the unannounced LG G Pro 2 phablet.

Given that LG has had some slim bezels on its recent handsets, we wonder where the company will place these scanners. HTC recently opted to fit one to the back of the HTC one, though we weren’t too crazy about that.

The LG G Pro 2 is thought to possibly be revealed at Mobile World Congress this February. We’ll get our answers then.
