Apple’s smartwatch has broken radio silence today, with reports that LG is making the iWatch display.

A report out of Korea has suggested that LG will be producing iWatch displays from July through to September. The display will reportedly be a 1.52-inch screen. Apparently it will use the same flexible technology that’s been used in the LG G Flex, which is in line with earlier rumors. LG is said to be making two million displays in this initial run.

The screen’s ‘glass’ will be made of plastic. It could mean that the watch itself will be curved to fit around your wrist.

The report has since been pulled for unknown reasons. Still, while we can’t comment on its validity, it does match up with everything we’ve heard about the watch previously. The only new piece of information is the 1.52-inch screen, which suggests Apple has settled on a size after earlier deliberation.
