HTC One Max squares off against Galaxy Note 2 + 3 in leaked photo

HTC One Max is thought to be HTC’s first foray into the phablet market, where it will face stiff competition from the Samsung Galaxy Note series. We won’t be able to directly compare the two brands until the Max is made official, but leaked photos of the device already have it facing off with the Note 2 and 3 models.

Obviously the Taiwanese company will want to be feature complete with its main rival when it launches. In the picture leaked (below) you can see that it manages to look noticeably taller at 5.9 inches, though its width pretty much stays in line with the other two. We still can’t speak for the phablet’s specs however, which is where the real battle will take place.

Though the HTC One Max remains unannounced at this point in time, rumours are pointing towards a Q4 2013 launch for the device. We heard last month that it will join the current updates to Apple’s devices in offering a fingerprint scanner for user identification.
