HTC One M9 battery woes could soon be solved

If you’re an HTC One M9 owner with gripes about its battery life, then you’ll be glad to hear that a new software update could improve how much juice it uses.

Leaker LlabtooFeR tweeted two screenshots of the One M9’s upcoming software update, version 1.40. The screenshot below shows that HTC is trying to improve the phone’s battery capability.

The screenshots also suggest that HTC One M9 owners will be able to moderately use the device for longer than a day on a single charge.

No word has been given on whether the new update will resolve any HTC One M9 bugs, but the update might be released as early as next week.
