The long rumoured HTC One A9 smartphone has shown up on AnTuTu, ahead of the HTC press event happening today.

While it’s sure to be overshadowed by Google’s announcement, the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer is expected to announce two new smartphones in the form of the HTC One M9 Plus and possibly the One A9.

New AnTuTu benchmarks for the One A9 detail a mid-range device which includes the newly released Qualcomm Snapdragon 620. RAM is an impressive 3GB, while the screen is a 5-inch 1080p panel. The rear shooter is rated at 13 megapixels and the front camera is 5 megapixels. It ships with the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. The overall benchmark score of 40,698 puts it in the same league as a last-generation Samsung Galaxy S5.

Pricing and availability are still unknown at the moment, though chances are that it will launch sometime in October.
