I’ve never before wondered why I can’t take my desktop all-in-one with me on the train, but it seems HP CEO Meg Whitman has, with the announcement of the 21-inch Slate 21.

The Slate 21 is an Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 tablet which features a kick-stand that will allow you to put it in an upright position and utilise it as a desktop computer.   Why? We don’t know. What we do know is that it features an NVIDIA Tegra 4 processor as well as a full-HD touchscreen.

Bear in mind this was announced in China, so whether or not it will reach these shores is yet to be known, although we’ve got to say that our intrigue has been piqued.
