Honor launches sub-£100 Honor 8S smartphone

A number of Honor smartphones have also been reduced

Honor has launched the Honor 8S smartphone for less than £100 in the UK, while also slashing the prices on a number of other smartphones including the View20.

The Chinese vendor has confirmed the 8S is available from Amazon, Carphone Warehouse and Very from £99.99 and expects more retailers soon including Argos to stock the smartphone.

The Honor 8S comes with a 5.71-inch dewdrop display, that has a screen-to-body ratio of 84.6 per cent.

There is a 13MP rear wide-aperture camera and 5MP front camera, 3,020mAh battery and support for expandable memory of up to 512GB.

Honor has also cut prices on a number of its smartphones, with prices listed below, with all discounts available from Amazon, Argos, Carphone Warehouse and Very.

Honor View20 256GB: Was £579.99, now £449.99 – saving £130

Honor View20 128GB: Was £499.99, now £369.99 – saving £130

Honor 10: Was £349.99, now £249.99, saving £100

Honor 10 LITE: Was £199.99, now £169.99, saving £30

Honor 7S: Was £99.99, now £79.99, saving £20
