Google Glass Explorer waiting list launched

If you’re wondering how some people are getting their hands (or eyes) on Google Glass before it’s even released, you obviously haven’t heard about Google Glass Explorers. They’re Google’s ‘beta testers’ of sorts, and now you can sign up to be one.

A Google Glass Explorer waiting list has been launched on the company’s official site. Users can now declare themselves as interested in purchasing the device, should one become available.

It’s a pretty simple way of getting on the waiting list, but expect said list to have a lengthy line. If you do get chosen to test the specs, then you’ll have to fork over some $1500. Google stressed to The Verge that this is simply a move to expand the Explorer program, rather than the first signs of a full consumer launch.

We are expecting to see it in 2014, though, along with the Google Glass Party Barge. Woo!
