Foodography combines food and photography for the Selfie Obsessed

If you’ve ever wanted to eat and learn how to take the perfect photograph at the same time, then Foodography might appeal to you.

The concept is fairly simple and essentially involves dining in a lavish restaurant while also taking graphic photographs of your impending meal. This unusual service aims to provide a true photography master-class while also offering some fine dining to boot. Costing $155 per head, it’s the crazy collaboration between Tel Aviv restaurant Catit and Isreal ‘s Caramel Winery. Even stranger, the two have also collaborated to create some custom plates for further enhancement. How else are you going to get the perfect selfie if there’s loads of background space interfering with your meticulous compositional skills?

These bizarre plates bend upwards at the back to provide a suitable backdrop for your photography, providing professional snaps that even a Michelin Star restaurant would be proud to put on display. If you’re selfie obsessed, there is no better way to spend an evening.

If you’re interested in experiencing this rather ‘acquired taste’, head on over to the website http://www.foodography.co.il/
