Firefighter starts developing Google Glass app for the job

Google Glass genuinely has the potential to make lives better, but so far we’ve only seen a handful of apps that prove that fact. Firefighter Patrick Jackson is adding one more to that handful.

Jackson is developing an app for firefighters that could aid the job immensely. Right now it can push emergency calls to the Glass interface. Responders will be able to locate a call’s location and nearby hydrants.

Future plans include building floor plans, vehicle diagrams and in-car rescue instructions. If it all works it could literally be a life-saver.
