FCC outs Wi-Fi Xperia Z Ultra mini-tablet

Fancy another Sony rumor? Of course you do.

The FCC has outed what seems to be a Wi-Fi only Xperia Z Ultra. The idea behind releasing this scaled back device is to give Sony a stake in the mini-tablet market.

It has a 6.4-inch screen, Snapdragon 800 processor, 8-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a 3000 mAh battery. And it would be waterproof. Phew.

Don’t be surprised if this device is announced in the near futute, then. While we often say that 6.4-inches is too big for a phone, isn’t it a little too small for a tablet?
