Starting from this week Facebook will rollout  a new feature for Facebook Messenger called Photo Magic.

Photo Magic is a new way for Facebook users to share photos with facial recognition technology. By allowing Facebook to access your gallery, Facebook can scan for pictures of your friends and recommend you send it to them.

Facebook has collated data stating that users send 9.5 billion pictures a month, with Photo Magic it’s Facebook’s aim to make it even more easier. Upon installation of the update you will receive push notifications to send photos in your gallery, once Photo Magic uses its facial recognition to identify your Facebook friends.

Photo Magic is rolling out in Australia today on Android, with iOS to follow later. It will roll out in other countries in the following months.
