Dual-SIM Windows Phones coming from HTC and Nokia

HTC was rumoured to be getting out of the Windows Phone game, and Nokia is being purchased by Microsoft, but that hasn’t stopped the two companies from supposedly working on dual-SIM Windows Phones.

According to Windows Phone Dang, a huge demand for dual-SIM smartphones has caused the two companies to begin exploring the possibility of launching such devices running the Windows Phone operating system.

Whilst the two companies are supposedly working on these devices, don’t expect them until at least next year, with the report claiming that the Lumia devices could already be ready, but aren’t set for unveiling by the end of this year. HTC’s plans are less obvious, but it’s unlikely we’ll see a Windows Phone from them for some time yet.
