Croatian nerds have created an awful pair of jeans specially designed for smartphone users

Ever thought that, as much as you like your jeans, they’re just not practical enough for every-day smartphone use? Of course not, because you’re a sane person. The guys at WTFJeans don’t think like you though, so naturally they’ve decided to fashion a pair specifically for maximum smartphone practicality.

If you reckoned all this time that your standard front pocket (or, if you’re a bit quirky, even your back pocket) was more than adequate for storing and accessing your smartphone, then prepare to feel like a real idiot. The WTFJeans V3 has a special pocket sewn into them, exclusively to house your device. This pocket sits a little lower down the leg so that you can reach in and draw out your device with the greatest of ease, even when you’re sitting down. It’s lined with microfibre so that it cleans your phone on the way in and on the way out. It also boasts anti-radiation capability so that your nether regions no longer have to face constant exposure to harmful waves. The outer fabric of the jeans are tempered with an anti-stain treatment, so that coffee, soda or even oil spills should lift right off.

Of course all of these special features come at a cost – ‚¬127 (plus your dignity and any sense of fashion or style you may have once had). It’s a little on the steep side, but no more than you’d pay for a decent designer label. You can also add in a custom tagline on the inside of the waistline for the low, low cost of ‚¬40, so you needn’t worry about getting them confused with someone else’s pair.

You can pick up a pair from WTFJeans’ website here. If you’re still not convinced, take a look at this video from the company’s founder below.
