Carphone Warehouse launches new network ‘iD’ tomorrow

Carphone Warehouse are all set to launch their new mobile network ‘iD’ tomorrow, offering competitive roaming plans that will cover over 22 countries. The mobile retail giant are aiming to attract customers with a lucrative offer that gives them access to the cheapest 4G plans currently available on the market today.

Graham Stapleton, UK CEO at Carphone Warehouse, says that the company are focused on “giving added flexibility and value to consumers who are getting increasingly frustrated with the ‘one size fits all’ approach.”

The plans available at launch are as follows:

The 4G ‘Shockproof’ plans from £7.50 per month

Plans are automatically capped and made ‘Shockproof’ to avoid nasty surprises with a £5 monthly buffer that customers can view and change.

The 24 month ‘TakeAway’ (roaming) plans from £25.50 per month

For customers who want to avoid high roaming charges when traveling, plans include more free roaming than any other network. Roaming will cover calls, texts and data in, an industry leading, 22 countries.

The 30 day SIM Only plans from £7.50 per month/ data only plans from £5.00 per month

Flexible SIM only deals feature high data allowances on 30 day rolling contracts. Deals include an unlimited data plan, featuring 2000 minutes and 5000 texts, for just £20 per month at launch.

The 12 month ‘Go To’ plans from £13.50 per month/ 24 month plans from £11.50 per month

Catering to the ‘always on’ customer, offering flexibility and value – with a focus on generous data allowances at key price points.

Also, if you act soon, there are a couple of bargain contracts available which cater to heavier and lighter users alike:

  • Samsung A3 – 12 month 4G plan with 300 mins, 5000 texts and 1GB of data for £19.50
  • Nokia 635 – 24 month 4G plan with 150 mins, 5000 texts and 250MB of data for £7.50
