Alongside delivering you the latest gadgets, Amazon could soon be bringing fresh groceries to your door with the Amazon Fresh service.

Amazon Fresh allows subscribers to order fresh groceries and get them delivered straight to their doorstep. The service, which launched in 2007, is currently running in the US and rumours suggest that it could be coming to the UK. This would make the company a competitor against Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and other British supermarkets.

Amazon Fresh charges

The service currently costs around £190 ($300) for a year’s worth of deliveries, on top of grocery costs. Amazon offers a 30 day trial, and you also get Prime (normally £79) chucked in your basket.
