Apple Watch may be reservation only

Purchasing the new Apple Watch won’t be as simple as just picking one up and paying for it at the till.

That’s what leaked details seen on MacRumours suggest anyway.

According to the leaked details, customers won’t be able to pop into a store and buy an Apple Watch from its April 24 launch date.

Instead, those who are interested in the watch must make an online reservation before being able to purchase it.

Those with a reservation will get to play around with the watch in Apple Stores between April 10 and April 24. This two week period will allow them to decide whether they actually want to purchase the watch from the launch date.

If you can’t wait until April 10, why not take a look at What Mobile’s Apple Watch preview for everything you need to know on the watch.
