Apple raising App Store prices yet again

If you live in Japan and are a frequent visitor of the App Store on iOS or Max OS X, then be prepared to find yourself with a slightly larger bill as of today. Apple has begun emailing users warning them of a price hike which is being done in order to combat a falling Yen.

This isn’t the first time Apple has raised its prices in the App Store, with a 2011 price jump in the UK, causing low-priced apps to rise from 59p to 69p, whereas more expensive apps saw themselves over £2 more expensive. October also saw a similar price rise in Europe, with low priced apps once again going up from 79 ¢ to 89 ¢.
