Apple has today announced that two million iPad’s have shipped since it first went on sale in the US on April 3rd. That’s an impressive figure for less than 60 days!

Apple CEO, Steve Jobs, said: “Customers around the world are experiencing the magic of iPad, and seem to be loving it as much as we do.”

With the iPad only just going on sale in the UK, it’s pretty clear that sales are going to continue climbing until Apple can announce its next milestone in the coming months.

The question now; how long until it reaches a cool TEN million sales?

The iPad is now available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland, UK and US. It will be released in nine more countries in July and additional countries before the end of 2010.
