It could be time to wave the naughty finger at Apple. The company is reportedly under investigation in Italy for accusations of tax fraud. Reports allegedly claim that the company has hidden more than 1 billion euro from tax authorities. An Apple investigation is said to be being carried out by authorities.

Few details have been revealed but a ‘judicial source’ has apparently confirmed it all to Reuters, stating that the investigation is ‘under way’. Apparently the company’s offices in Milan have even been searched through. Reuters were unable to confirm this, however.

Expect this story to develop in the near future. Apple investigations aren’t an entirley new concept – the company has come under fire for similar claims before surrounding its Irish operations.
