UK consumers remain avid Apple fans with the brand topping the CoolBrand list once again.

3,000 consumers and some top industry experts, such as Strictly Come Dancing contestant Julien McDonald, were asked what they considered to be the coolest brands.

Turns out that they all thought Apple were coolest, with it remaining at the top after winning the same honour in 2012/13.

Google made the top ten twice, with YouTube and Google itself being 6th and 7th respectively, although previously cool brands such as BBC iPlayer was pushed out of the top ten and is now sixteenth.

Other brands considered ‘cool’ include Twitter, Bang & Olufsen, Sony and Spotify, all which made it into the top 20.

Interestingly SodaStream also made the list, a device that had previously been perceived as ‘uncool’ since the last century, although it didn’t manage to crack the top 20.
