Android Market to implement content ratings

Android Market is finally going to show content ratings for apps and games, allowing users to get more information about content, as well as filter or block categories at a later stage.

In the coming weeks, apps will show a content rating from one of four clearly defined categories; All, Pre-teen, Teen and Mature.

Application developers will now have to rate existing applications on the store in order to avoid them all being automatically given the highest, Mature, rating.
