Amplicomms M7510 is ‘as loud as a train’

Specialised handset manufacturer Amplicom has released the Amplicomms M7510, a new feature phone which includes up to 8 days in battery life.

For almost 25 years now, Audioline GmbH has been developing telecommunication devices for private and business users, offering everything from baby phones to office electronics. Under the Amplicom brand name they also offer a range of extremely specialised phones for users with impaired hearing and sight and for elderly people.

The new Amplicomms M7510 handset is a basic feature phone that seems to have its sights set on the elderly, with a simple button layout and SOS button for emergencies. There’s a dual SIM mode for international calls, plus it also packs in an extra loud ringtone that can be increased by up to 35dB’s, making conversations much easier to hear than a regular mobile. This is apparently as loud as a ‘train approaching’.

Amplicomms M7510 will help you hear better

Another feature thrown in is hearing aid compatibility, which tends to be a problem for older users. For those who use one, they will be pleased to know that the M7510 has one of the highest compatibility ratings possible. This means it won’t interfere with phone reception or interfere with calls. The ability to speak the names of up to 10 callers is also there if you really struggle to hear the earpiece. As a feature phone, it runs on its own operating system… likely JAVA-based.

Other notable features include a headset connection, 7 hour quoted talk-time and up to 8 days in battery life.
