Amazon Prime Instant Video comes to Android tablets

Amazon Prime subscribers can now stream content from their Android tablets.

This news will probably come as a relief to many Amazon Prime subscribers who, until now, have only been able to street Amazon Prime’s Instant Video service to their phones.

Users can also launch Amazon’s Instant Video webpage and watch shows from there.

Getting Amazon Prime on your tablet will actually be a bit of a faff unfortunately. First you’ll have to install the Amazon Appstore, and then head to the tablet’s security menu to switch off the ‘don’t install from unknown sources’ option. You’ll then need to launch the separate Prime Instant Video app.
