Acer unveils Tempo smartphone series

Acer is introducing a new line of Windows Mobile powered smartphones aimed at the consumer needing technology to meet both business and social needs.

 


 

ACER M900 – For all your communications on the go

The M900 is a smart handheld device that lets you keep track of activities and access files and contacts through PC synchronisation. It features a slide-up QWERTY keyboard to speed up text entry.

The 3G/HSDPA device runs Windows Mobile 6.1 and has a 3.8-inch Wide VGA touchscreen to dramatically improve web browsing using Internet Explorer 6. The M900 also has a fingerprint sensor, GPS, FM-radio, voice recording/command, memory expansion (microSDHC) and a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash.

 


 

ACER F900 – Slim and Smart Internet

The sleek looking F900 is another device with a large 3.8-inch Wide-VGA display and an easy-to-use touch keyboard. There’s a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera, with LED flash, GPS, FM radio, voice recording/command and microSDHC memory expansion.

Access to key applications can be done from the customisable widget-based home screen. The 3G/HSPA device has Wi-Fi and Internet Explorer 6.

 


 

ACER X960 – Versatile and functional navigation

The X960 is a 3G smartphone that has a 2.8-inch VGA resolution display, five way navigation key and a widget-based user interface sitting on top of Windows Mobile.

The phone has GPS for easy personal and vehicle navigation, a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera (with LED flash), microSDHC memory expansion and a classy black and silver design.

 


 

ACER DX900 – Double connectivity and convenience

The DX900 is the first dual-SIM smartphone to support GSM and 3G with HSDPA. It allows you to keep track of both personal and business communications.

The DX900 has a 2.8-inch VGA display and the touchscreen allows easy one-hand navigation of the widget-based and highly finger-friendly UI on top of the Windows Mobile operating system, with 3D animated icons and cool transition effects.

For managing two phone lines and multiple wireless connections, the DX900 has an intuitive connection manager that includes a Flight Mode button to instantly turn off all wireless comms.

The DX900 has a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera (with LED flash), voice recording/command and expandable memory with microSDHC cards.
