3 launches ‘Books on the Go’ service

What Mobile
January 20, 2009

Doing away with the need to carry heavy books, and somehow hold them open while figuring out which body part to use for holding the grab rail, 3’s new service (offered in conjunction with GoSpoken.com) will bring bestselling books to your mobile.

Users of 3’s Planet3 portal can browse, buy and download books in text or audio format from publishers that include HarperCollins and Penguin. Prices start at £2 each, rising to £5-10. There are over 1,000 to choose from so you should be able to find something of interest, but if not – over 100 titles are to be added each month and you can read free extracts before you buy.

GoSpoken.com was set up by bestselling author and ex-armed forces soldier and SAS member Andy McNab.
