The official Android TV ™ website displays a list of Google’s major global partners, of which Infomir is now included in. The Infomir logo now appears next to some big operators, as well as manufacturers for set-top boxes, smart TVs, projectors and soundbars.

Infomir’s very first Android TV device is the MAG425A. In order for a device to be allowed to be released on Android TV, it has to adhere to very strict requirements set by Google.

In December 2018, Infomir’s very own MAG425A succeeded in passing all of Google’s tests, guaranteeing that it meets all the hardware, software, performance and security requirements.

Its main features:

  • 4K and HDR. The MAG425A can play content in 4K 60 fps, and its HDR support provides the best possible colour rendering for light as well as dark scenes.
  • Android TV – an interface that is both modern and convenient, embedded Google services, as well as over 5000 apps and games.
  • Built-in Chromecast – a feature that allows you to cast music and videos to your TV directly from a smartphone, tablet, or laptop in a single tap.
  • Auto frame-rate: The MAG425A automatically synchronizes the rate that the video and your TV refreshes the frame rate.
  • Google Assistant voice control. With this feature, there’s no need to search manually for your favourite movies and TV shows by name, rating, genre, popularity, or cast.
  • Very shortly the MAG425A will be updated to the latest operating system version. And right now Infomir is hard at work developing a whole new generation of Android TV devices.
