Eight of Nokia’s smartphones now run on Android 10

HMD Global has confirmed that its Nokia 3.2 and 4.2 smartphones are the latest to receive the Android 10 rollout.

The two smartphones were both launched during the Mobile World Congress last year, where Nokia committed to providing three-years’ worth of monthly security updates plus an additional two years of OS upgrades.

The global Nokia licensee revealed there are now eight Nokia smartphones running the latest version of Android.

Other Nokia smartphones using Android 10 include the Nokia 9 PureView, Nokia 8.1, Nokia 7.1, Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 6.1 and the Nokia 5.3.

According to Counterpoint Research, Nokia phones are the fastest growing brand when it comes to issuing the latest software updates, with 94 per cent of the portfolio covered.

Gesture navigation, smart reply, privacy controls, focus mode and family link are among the latest features updated with Android 10.
