Hats off to actor Simon Pegg for achieving Geek God status: not only has he got his own comic, but it’s available as an app. Admittedly, some creative licence has been taken in the process.
The Pegg who stars in the app is a hunky superhero saving the world from destruction with his robot manservant.
The comic itself is great, with a ripping storyline and excellent illustrations. There are few interactive bells and whistles in the app itself, although you can choose your background music and share your joy via Facebook and Twitter. One for fans only, but still good.
