Plants vs Zombies 2 has been out for nearly two months on iOS, and has only seen a release on Android in China. That’s set to change in the near future, as Popcap promises a global rollout for the sequel soon.

The app, subtitled ‘It’s About Time’, will first launch in Australia and New Zealand to help make the release smooth. Once Popcap is sure of its stability, it will start releasing the game globally. It’s about t– oh we won’t go there.

The iOS release of Plants vs Zombies 2 has been subject to rave reviews. It exists as a free to play title where players can purchase more upgrades to help them out. Once its out across this OS, expect it to come to the likes of the Xbox One and eventually the PlayStation 4. We also recently found out that another legendary game, Cut the Rope, is also getting a sequel.
