Opera has launched Opera Mini 6 and Opera Mobile 11 for a wide range of smartphones platforms, offering an improving browsing experience for the millions of users who use Opera every day.

The new versions offer improved scrolling, including a jump to top/bottom link that appears when rapidly scrolling through long passages of text, better panning and zooming, with true pinch-to-zoom on devices that support multitouch.

For tablet users, the user interface is now designed to make better use of the increased resolutions and screen size. A sharing button has been added so you can easily send links to Facebook, My Opera or Twitter.

Opera Mini 6, designed primarily for users with limited data packages and slow connection speeds, is released today for Java, Android, BlackBerry and Symbian/S60 devices.

Opera Mobile 11, offering the full mobile browser experience, is available on Android, Symbian, MeeGo, Maemo, with existing versions already available for Windows 7 (desktops and tablets) and Mac.

iOS versions will be announced later.
