CoPilot Live 8 users get free map update

ALK Technologies is giving all CoPilot Live v8 users a free map update, bringing more accurate street maps and points of interest ahead of Christmas.

Following a poll that found nearly 70% of users most wanted updated maps, the free update is now available to all users, including Windows Mobile, Android and iPhone – although the latter is subject to approval by Apple.

CoPilot Live v8 is a navigation app that uses map data stored locally on an SD-card, with a range of ‘Live’ features for tracking vehicles and providing real-time traffic information.
