Cineworld iPhone app exceeds one million downloads

Cineworld’s app for iPhone has passed the one million download mark in a year. Users can find film information, screening times and then book tickets within the app.

The Cineworld app also includes film recommendations, trailers and news of upcoming releases. When checking film times, multiple Cineworld sites can be compared at the same time.

The secure booking system is also accompanied by maps and directions to each Cineworld site, as well as other information about each cinema.

Cineworld operates 78 cinemas in the UK and Ireland, including 72 multiplex sites and the cinema at The O2 that now has the largest 3D screen in Europe.
