Foursquare app review

Ovi already has official Twitter and Facebook apps, so it’s about time we had some representation from one of the (relatively) new kids on the social networking block.

Even more than the aforementioned services, Foursquare leans on mobile technology to make its central concept work.

The idea is to “check-in” to locations when out and about, so that your friends can see where you’ve been and whether you enjoyed it. You can also earn “badges” through regular use and for visiting certain locations.

This Ovi version works much the same as on other platforms – very nicely indeed, in other words.
