Why should you be advertising in What Mobile magazine?

  • Established reputation: What Mobile is the longest running mobile phone magazine, launched in May 1993.
  • Widely available: What Mobile is available in newsagents, including independent newsagents, WH Smith and selected supermarkets. It is also available by subscription.
  • Respected content: Our reviewers don’t hold their punches. If a product is good, or bad, we say it. This honest approach has earned us respect from the industry and readers alike, ensuring that everyone takes the magazine and its editorial content seriously. It’s why the What Mobile name and branding is so often used by networks and manufacturers in their own advertising campaigns.
  • We’re about more than just mobile phones: What Mobile doesn’t just review phones. We cover accessories, games and applications which are all tied in with buying and owning a mobile phone. It ensures that What Mobile remains relevant to people even after they’ve purchased a new phone.

Media Pack

Please call us if you would like to be sent a media pack, by post, fax or email. Our media pack contains our rate card and printing/publishing dates.

Advertising copy requirements

We require advertising copy to be supplied with sufficient time for us to check the copy meets the necessary requirements. We strongly advise against submitting copy on a press day, as we will not have time to recommend changes if the advertisement is supplied in the wrong format or size. There can be no extension beyond these dates and you WILL be charged for the space even if it is not filled with your advertisement!

Online advertising

We can offer a range of online advertising to suit your needs and budget, from a full website branding to individual buttons, banners and MPUs.

Adverts can be placed for a set number of days, or a fixed number of exposures or clicks. We can also offer advertising for any individual section (e.g. news). Advertisers can also check the response on an ongoing basis, or change banners directly, with an optional login account to access our advertising server.
