Apple iPhone 3G S: Over one million sold over weekend

If you sell over a million products over a weekend, you could probably consider it a pretty good success! And that is what Apple achieved over the weekend when the new iPhone 3G S went on sale.
One million sales in three days is nothing short of amazing, and assuming Apple isn't lying or merely referring to the number of devices they've shipped to their direct customers (i.e. the networks) then it's quite obvious that the new iPhone 3G S is going to be a runaway success story.
Apple's CEO, Steve Jobs proudly stated: "Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning.", "With over 50,000 applications available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever."
The iPhone 3G S is available now in 16GB and 32GB models from the Apple Store, O2 and Carphone Warehouse. Existing 8GB 3GB models are also available for a limited time.
