After getting the exclusive on the I8910 HD, Orange will also be the first UK network to release the Samsung S5600. Available in three striking colours, the handset is available immediately.
The S5600 is designed for social networkers on the move, and the phone features the TouchWiz user interface with mobile widgets that we have now come to expect from all Samsung mobiles.
The S5600 has a 2.8-inch 240x320 pixel display and is embedded with Orange Windows Live embedded for easy access. Mobile widgets can be dragged and placed anywhere on the screen for easy access to favourite applications and services.
The phone also offers high-speed browsing and an integrated accelerometer for automatic screen rotation.
For imaging, there's a 3.2-megapixel camera and support for features like smile shot. There's also a media player for music and video, with Shazam providing a music recognition service that ties in with the Orange Music Store.
Available immediately, the S5600 will be available free of charge on a £20 per month contract (24-month term) or £159.50 on prepay.
