"Touchnote for Mobile" to allow users to create and instantly send postcards via mobile
Touchnote is to launch “Touchnote for Mobile”, an application that will allow users to create postcards instantly and have them sent immediately as actual postcards on a mobile to any destination worldwide.
The company said that the service will soon be going live on two of the most popular mobile application platforms, although it declined to state who that might be as of yet.
Touchnote said that research it recently conducted showed 65 per cent of travlellers now keep in touch with loved ones via mobile or the internet but 90 per cent said they still enjoy receiving postcards.
Touchnote said that research it has recently conducted shows that only 20 per cent of people always send postcards on holiday, with over a third of those surveyed blaming postcards as being too inconvenient to buy, write and post.
