The end of the year is a nice break for handset leaks, but someone didn’t tell that to Huawei. Time for a look at the Huawei Glory 4.
MyDrivers has uncovered a leak of the Chinese company’s latest phone. The Huawei Glory 4 is said to be a budget smartphone for the company’s home market, but it’s got some eyebrow-raising specs behind it.
Apparently the phone packs MediaTek’s MT6592 chip. That’s a processor with not two, not four but eight cores. That earns it the rather awesome name of octa-core. Then there’s 2GB RAM, 16GB of storage and a 13-megapixel camera. Not bad for something that’s meant to be in the budget range.
It’s expected to run Android 4.2 with a 720p display. No word on when it will all be made official, though if it’s true then it may go by the name of Honor elsewhere.
