Orange launches Application Shop

Orange has launched its own Application Shop, giving 'one-click' access to its subscribers.
The new Application Shop will be available on over one million phones in the UK and France, expanding to other customers in 2010.
The multi-platform store will be available on a number of handsets, including services like Orange TV, Orange Games and Orange Maps.
Orange has worked closely with device manufacturers to ensure a consistent user experience that includes Java, Android, BlackBerry, Symbian and Windows Mobile.
Anything downloaded can be purchased on one Orange mobile bill, meaning customers do not need to pre-register or pay using a credit card.
