AQA renaming itself as 63336

November 26th 2009

Posted by: Jonathan Morris

AQA, the text based question and answer based service, is to rename itself as 63336 - the short code number that questions are texted to.

When the service launched it was known as AQA, followed by AQA 63336 in 2007 to ensure people knew the number to send questions to. Now, it will be known only by the number.

A TV campaign kicks off on November 30th and will run for three weeks to attract new customers and encourage existing users to ask more questions.

Users wanting to find out the answer to absolutely any question can text to 63336 and receive an answer in a matter of minutes (often just seconds). The service costs 98p for UK users and €1.50 for users in Ireland.

An application can also be downloaded to your mobile phone by texting 'APP' to 63336. Once installed, you will be able to get three free answers.
