Custom Reebok trainers from your iPhone

We're not sure how much competition there was, but Reebok has become the first shoe maker to offer a shoe customisation application for the iPhone, in conjunction with Inside Mobile and Agency Mobile. Choose the show, customise it and then place an order - simple!
Although Nike has been offering a web based shoe customisation service for some time, Reebok is now allowing iPhone users to fully customise their trainer design with the Your Reebok application. The application features touch, motion and GPS to create an experience not seen before on mobile.
Users can create their ideal trainers and then buy them. They start with one of three bases; The Freestyle, The Classic Leather and The Ventilator. You can then change up to 23 different areas of the shoe with a choice of 19 colours, four material options and then add personalised text.
Shoes range from £80 to £110 depending on the show and customisation.
Designs can also be shared with friends or the world, and using the GPS feature on the iPhone, you can also see 'local' designs and - if preferred - choose one of these instead of starting from scratch.
Your Reebox is available now in the UK and USA, extending in the coming months to Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria and Ireland.
