O2 enters deals market with Priority Moments

O2 is to expand its Priority scheme to bring the voucher market mainstream with exclusive deals and experiences from top high street brands, including Odeon Cinemas, Harvey Nichols, WH Smith, National Express, JJB and Zizzi.

Priority Moments gives O2′s 22 million customers the chance to benefit from money saving deals and enhanced experiences. The operator claims this could save every customer up to 105 per month.

O2 Marketing and Consumer Director, Sally Cowdry said: Only O2 can do this. None of the voucher companies has the direct, trusted relationship with the customer. O2 is a trusted brand and through Priority Moments we have established long term partnerships with well loved and respected brands that people want to engage with daily. You will consistently find offers and experiences from O2 and these companies over a long period of time.

Priority Moments is easy to use, allowing customers to take advantage of instantly redeemable offers that are relevant and local. Customers can customise their preferences to tailor the offerings around their interests, with no printing, posting or searching around the Internet to find offers.

Going beyond existing voucher schemes, O2 is combining the money-saving deals with enhanced experiences, which could include early access to a sale, free delivery on goods or a complimentary glass of wine with a meal.

At launch, O2 is offering 50% off adult and teenager tickets from Sunday to Thursday at Odeon Cinemas, a free canvas tote bag with any purchase over 25 at Harvey Nichols, half price ‘read of the week’ at WH Smith and a starter and main course for 10, or a glass of prosecco and dough sticks at Zizzi.

Other brands offering deals at launch include Toni & Guy, Yo! Sushi, French Connection, National Express, Ask Pizza, JJB Sports and Hotel Chocolat.

O2 is also keen to state that this isn’t a series of one-off deals, but about building a long term service with customers and business partners.

Priority Moments is available as a free app for iPhone and Android customers (downloadable via the Apple App Store and Android Market), along with a mobile website to make the service accessible to all. Offers can be searched by location, with offers shown on the mobile screen at the point of redemption.
